TEEN LEADERSHIP KALLAH
Why should teens come to the Teen Leadership Kallah?
  • To learn with outstanding Jewish leaders and educators
  • To bond with other Jewish teens from around the country
  • To improve teaching techniques and develop leadership skills in a fun, spiritual atmosphere
  • To participate in the great CAJE Shabbat and Pre-Conference programs
  • To experience dorm living with a teen roommate
  • To participate in an off-site educational experience that will significantly impact your role as a Jewish educator
  • To end your summer with an awesome and worthwhile experience

The Teen Leadership Kallah is partially underwritten by a generous grant from the Myra Reinhard Family Foundation. Participants are accepted on a first come, first served basis. There are a limited number of spaces available at $515 for the entire conference, including Shabbat and Pre-Conference. The price includes the program, food, and lodging at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina from August 3-10, 2006.

The Teen Leadership Kallah is a part of the annual Conference on Alternatives in Jewish Education. It is for teens who share an interest in becoming Jewish educators that are students entering grades 10-12 or their first year of college.
Our participants are housed in the University dormitories and supervised by adult resident advisors during their entire stay.

If you wish to apply now, please click here to download a paper application. Teens must submit the Teen Leadership Kallah application by April 14, 2006.
Each teen participant must have a sponsoring educator or other concerned adult in residence at the Conference.
