Summary of Articles

Cover photo: This senior and her young friend are taking part in a Family Circle program, sponsored by DOROT, based in Manhattan. Families with children aged 4 to 10 come together several times a year to learn about Jewish holidays, Jewish values, and the needs of the elderly and to participate in Holiday Package Deliveries to frail and isolated seniors. Family Circle enables seniors to share their life experiences with the young, while families enrich the lives of older men and women.
CAJE encourages you to make reprints of articles on the website and share them with your colleagues and lay leadership. All we ask is that you tell them that these articles originally appeared in Jewish Education News, published by CAJE, and that articles on this and other topics, curriculum, and information about CAJE can be found online at www.caje.org.
