Diller Teen Initiatives Seeks National Education Director
The Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin & Sonoma announces the creation of a new position to direct and coordinate educational programs, conferences and curriculum for the National Diller Teen Initiative. The position is based in San Francisco and will provide a competitive salary package.
The Diller Teen Fellows program is a year-long national Jewish leadership program for high school students. The four main pillars of the program are: Leadership, Judaism, Community Service, and Israel. Fellows participate in workshops, retreats, community service projects, and a Summer Seminar in Israel. The program has existed in the San Francisco Bay Area for ten years and in the last two years has expanded to Baltimore, Cleveland, Detroit, Los Angeles, and MetroWest, New Jersey, with partner programs in the following Israeli cities: Upper Galilee, Ashkelon, Beit Shean, Central Galilee, Tel Aviv, and Rishon L’Tzion.
