The CAJE "network" is made up of thousands of teachers, administrators, clergy and lay leaders involved in the Jewish educational endeavor. We can help you reach that “network” through the CAJE website and publications. But clearly, the most direct and effective way of reaching the CAJE community is to become part of the community’s annual gathering. The 32nd Annual Conference on Alternatives in Jewish Education will take place August 5 - August 9, 2007 at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Who attends the Conference?
31% are administrators/directors
41% are teachers
The rest are clergy, central agency/federation professionals, lay leaders, students and others
What are they saying about the conference in general?
87% report being challenged to think in new ways.
88% say they generated new ideas or activities they want to use in their work.
72% added a new approach to their educational work.
85% agreed that the conference provided an opportunity to explore new materials.
What are they saying about the EXPO in particular?
98% report visiting the EXPO.
88% made a purchase.
89% say the EXPO is useful or VERY useful in their work.
It is clear that the EXPO plays a key role In our effort to provide our members with high quality professional development and support. CAJE members look to our EXPOs, and the advertisements placed in the conference program book and other publications to help them best serve their schools and classrooms.
As an exhibitor, you will be given a free descriptive listing in the program book. In order to maximize your opportunity to reach the CAJE community, you may also want to consider the value of placing a message in the notices section of the program book, which many CAJE members use as a reference tool throughout the year. Additional opportunities for promotion include advertising in the Jewish Education News (JEN) which circulates to 4000 educators or in our emailed CAJEpage.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in the CAJE CyberEXPO that includes internet exposure for one year on the CAJE website in the form of an online alphabetical subject listing. This provides CAJE website visitors an easy link to your website, and extends your EXPO experience 360 days. Consider the additional impact purchasing a CyberEXPO banner brings. It is an effective way to spread the word about your products and services to a population that appreciates your connection to CAJE.
To become a 2007 EXPO vendor, follow these 3 simple steps:
- Visit our website, www.CAJE.org, and complete the vendor ONLINE APPLICATION.

What is it?
The CyberEXPO is an online alphabetical and subject area listing of all CAJE EXPO exhibitors. Registration for a booth at a CAJE EXPO includes a free description of your company and a free link from the CAJE website (www.caje.org) to your site.
Have you thought about an online banner?
Consider emphasizing your CAJE support with a graphic online banner, which links the CAJE website to your site. The banners rotate on the CAJE home page. For exhibitors, the banner fee is $125. For non-exhibitors, the banner fee is $175. Over one-third of CAJE website visitors have taken advantage of the opportunity to contact vendors through weblinks on our site. This is a wonderful way to attract customers and promote your product(s) on the market and in circulation!
How can I put my banner on the CAJE web site?
Submit your banner according to the following specifications:
Your banner must measure 300 x 60 pixels and be either a .jpg file or a .gif file. It should be e-mailed to the CAJE Conference Director at dfrank@caje.org.
When will my banner appear on the CAJE web site and for how long will it be there?
The first exhibitor listing will go up by March 31, 2007. Listings will be updated on a bi-weekly basis after that. The banners will remain on our web site until March of 2008.
What is the deadline for banners?
Exhibitors must create and submit their banner by June 16, 2007. The earlier you submit your banner, the sooner you will be listed on the site!
