ARTHUR GREEN, rector of Hebrew College’s Rabbinical School, is recognized as one of the world’s preeminent authorities on Jewish thought and spirituality. In addition to his Rabbinical School role, he serves as Irving Brudnick Professor of Philosophy and Religion and is Professor Emeritus at Brandeis University. Previously, he taught at the University of Pennsylvania and the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, where he served as dean and president from 1984 to 1993. A prolific author, his most recent books include Ehyeh: A Kabbalah for Tomorrow (Jewish Lights Publishing, 2002) and A Guide to the Zohar (Stanford University, 2003).
REUVEN KIMELMAN is a professor of Classical Rabbinic Literature at Brandeis University. Previously, he was Joseph Shier Distinguished Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Toronto and Five College Professor of Judaic Studies at Amherst College. He has also taught at Mt. Holyoke, Smith, Trinity and Williams Colleges as well as at JTS and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In addition, he has served as scholar-in-residence for the JCCA and as Senior Scholar of CLAL. He is the author of, The Mystical Meaning of ‘Lekhah Dodi’ and ‘Kabbalat Shabbat,’ published by the Hebrew University, and two audio books – The Hidden Poetry of the Jewish Prayerbook: The What, How, and Why of Jewish Liturgy and The Moral Meaning of the Bible: The What, How, and Why of Biblical Ethics. He is currently at work on a book on the meaning and history of Jewish prayer, and another entitled Terrorism, War, Democracy, and the Jewish Ethics of Power.

AMICHAI LAU-LAVIE is President and Artistic Director of Storahtelling. He is an Israeli-born mythologist, storyteller and teacher of Judaic Literature, recently hailed by Time Out NY as "Super Star of David" and "iconoclastic mystic," and as "one of the most interesting thinkers in the Jewish world" by the NY Jewish Week. Amichai is a Synagogue 3000 fellow, a consultant to the Reboot Network, and the recipient of a Joshua Venture Fellowship award in 2002–2004. He serves on the Board of Directors of Bikkurim, an incubator for new Jewish ideas.
PETER PITZELE pioneered the development of
Bibliodrama. He is Dean of Faculty of Storahtelling, co-founder of the Institute for Contemporary Midrash, adjunct at JTS and HUC, author of several books and numerous articles and currently refining a new methodology in biblical storytelling designed for the pulpit and the classroom.
DEVORAH ZLOCHOWER is Rosh Beit Midrash and Talmud and halakha instructor at Drisha Institute in New York. Ms. Zlochower is a graduate of the Scholars Circle, the institution’s 3-year advanced program in Talmud and halakha. Ms. Zlochower has published a number of articles related to halakha, as well as articles related to Jewish women’s leadership. She is a member of the board of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance. She is also on the editorial advisory board of Sh’ma. Ms. Zlochower was named one of "The Fifty who Point the Way Forward" by The Forward in 2001.
